HOW-TO GUIDE

Not everyone’s hair reacts in the same way. Some evidence suggests that each hair type needs different care. I went right to the “water-only” method and I’ve been happy with it for several years now. If you find that your hair is too oily try the “Conditioner-Only” method for a few weeks. If your hair looks lifeless and “dead” give the baking-soda/vinegar method a try.

Water-Only method:
(best suited to dark and curly hair)
1. Briskly massage your scalp under warm/hot water.

Conditioner-Only method
(best suited to straight/wavy light colored hair)
1. Briskly massage your scalp under warm/hot water.
2. Apply a small amount of conditioner and rinse clean.

Baking soda/Vinegar Method
(best suited to anyone who has a problem with there hair looking “dull”)
1. Make a paste of baking soda and just enough water to make it damp.
2. Apply to hair and gently message into scalp. Rinse clean after 30 seconds or so.
4. Apply a solution of 1 cup warm water and 2 tablespoons of apple-cider vinegar to your hair. Rinse clean.
Note: You can substitute lemon juice.

Why vinegar/lemon juice?
Well, your hair has scales. When they stand up your hair looks dull. Acid causes the scales to tighten up and flatten. When they lie down your hair looks shiny.
