In a nutshell, all computer-controlled ships.

'AI' generally stands for "Artificial Intelligence". Thus, an AI ship is a spacecraft not commanded by a player pilot.

Most, if not all, AI ships, drones, and other such units can be attacked by a player of any level. However, practice caution before making any hostile actions, and be sure that you can actually kill the target AI.

The amount of credits an AI ship spawns with is exactly 800 times its level. For example, a level 300 AI ship will have 240,000 credits on it when it spawns.
