Commodities (abbreviated commods) are the backbone of commerce in Star Sonata. Commodities always take up 1 hull space each but their weight can vary drastically.

These commodities are easily found throughout the universe. Most AI bases stock them and most can be extracted from planets and moons, or mined from asteroids.
